Singapore-Myanmar took two playoff holes to beat out Team Canada and claim The FCC Nations Cup in the bi-annual golf tournament held last month at the Angkor Golf Resort in Siem Reap.
After 36 holes the two leading teams were tied at 212 points each, forcing a one-hole sudden-death playoff.
After a tense round at Hole 9, the two teams came away tied yet again, which forced another playoff round. Singapore-Mynmar won the second round 11-9, knocking Team Canada into second place and Team Cambodia into third.
Australia Defence Attaché Colonel Lewis Coyle recorded the best single player score (a 3 over par), followed by Korea’s Kim Yongtae and Cambodia’s Meng Hieng.
A charity hole-in-one challenge raised awareness and money for the Indochina Starfish Foundation.
